CERIC-ERIC will attend the 2nd ERIC Forum meeting at Instruct-ERIC in Oxford, UK on April 19-20th.
Managers and staff of existing and prospective ERICs will have the chance to exchange best practices, and to discuss common problems and the related possible solutions with the delegates of the European Commission who will attend the event.
Ornela De Giacomo, Deputy Executive Director at CERIC, will chair the session on Socio-economic impact assessment. She will present the KPIs used by CERIC to measure its performance, as well as the state of the art of the methodology developed in the framework of the ACCELERATE H2020 project.
Also possible actions and best practices improving the communication of RIs’, and of the ERIC Forum, will be discussed. Communications officers from CERIC, CLARIN ERIC and BBMRI-ERIC will bring their case studies. A focus of CERIC’s presentation will be on the activities carried out and the knowledge acquired through the ACCELERATE project.
The ERIC Forum brings together established ERICs and major Research Infrastructures with those that are progressing towards ERIC status through the ESFRI Roadmap. Its objectives are to develop visibility, impact and sustainability of the Research Infrastructures and support international research through cooperative actions.
